June 26 A touching storyToday when I am wondering on the internet, this story happens to jump into my eyes, from the blog of one of my best friends. So I just translate it into English and post it here for my own.
" About Tiramisu---
Italy.
A new married man unexpectedly got a notice of joining the army.
Before he left, his wife depleted the rest cookies, butter, coffee, and coco at home, mixing them together and made it into a desert. As the hunsband ate them up and was ready to leave, his wife told him, the dersert was named "Tiramisu". With full of relunctancy, he still left after a long deep kiss with his beloved wife. During the days after, each time he thought of the taste with a little bitter, and a little sweet, it reminded him the desert named "Tiramisu", and more importantly, his wife and her pain at his leaving. Nothing did his wife say though, he understood everything, becasuse in Italian Tiramisu meant --- Take me to go. "
It's the first time I hear the story of Tiramisu, my favorite desert. So touched. :) TrackbacksThe trackback URL for this entry is: http://latticezhou.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!E723A603D2889A54!145.trak Weblogs that reference this entry
